Moulting birds have to produce a complete covering of feathers within 3 to 6 weeks. This places cage and aviary birds’ system under a fair amount of stress, especially if the essential amino acids required for feather production are limited in their diet. Avi-moult supplies a supplementary source of these amino acids, as well as a scientific blend of vitamins and minerals to assist in dealing with the high stress of moulting.
